Joam Alisme

Joam Alisme is a litigation associate at Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Alisme served as a court attorney to New York State Presiding Commercial Division Justice, Sylvia G. Ash, Kings County, for three years. He also worked as a litigation fellow for a nationally recognized nonprofit organization.

While in law school Mr. Alisme interned for the Federal Defenders of New York, Southern District and the New York State Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Frauds Bureau. Mr. Alisme also served as president of the Black Law Students Association, Senator, Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Moot Court Association at New York Law School. Outside of his work for the firm, Mr. Alisme mentors law students who are sitting for the New York State Bar Exam and works with them to develop effective study strategies.
