Joam Alisme is an Associate in the Business Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, and Cooperatives and Condominiums Practices at Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer.

Dedicated, Dependable Advocate

Mr. Alisme’s practice focuses on commercial disputes, particularly those involving residential and commercial real estate. He has substantial perspective on all sides of real estate contests as a result of representing sponsors, developers, brokers, commercial landlords and tenants, and condominium and cooperative boards.

Mr. Alisme brings a wealth of diverse experience to his work at the firm. Most recently, he was a litigation fellow at Everytown for Gun Safety, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization. Prior to that, he served for three years as a court attorney to New York State Presiding Commercial Division Justice, Sylvia G. Ash, Kings County.

While in law school, Mr. Alisme interned for the Federal Defenders of New York, Southern District and for the New York State Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Frauds Bureau. He continues to support his law school alma mater by mentoring students who are preparing for the New York State Bar Exam.

Mr. Alisme was an active duty member of the United States Air Force from 2004 to 2008.
