Mark C. Zauderer and Three Other Litigators Join Ganfer & Shore

Ganfer & Shore, LLP is pleased to announce a substantial expansion of its litigation practice. Effective July 1, 2018, Mark C. Zauderer and Craig S. Kesch have become members of the firm, Jason T. Cohen has become of counsel to the firm, and Grant A. Shehigian has become associated with the firm.  The new name of the firm is Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer LLP.

Mark C. Zauderer represents businesses, major law firms, and prominent individuals in significant litigations throughout the United States.  Mr. Zauderer is currently a member of the Governor’s Judicial Screening Committee for the Appellate Division, First Department, the Chief Administrative Judge’s Advisory Committee on Civil Practice, and the Chief Judge’s permanent Commercial Division Advisory Council.  Previously, he was appointed by Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye as Chair of New York’s Commission on the Jury.  Mr. Zauderer is currently acting with the powers of the New York State Supreme Court in overseeing the break-up of a major law firm with over 20,000 clients.  He was honored by the New York Law Journal with its 2015 award for “Lawyers Who Lead by Example” and currently serves as a judge on the Law Journal’s “Attorney of the Year” selection panel.  In 2017, he was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters.  Mr. Zauderer is also a past President of the Federal Bar Council and a past Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation section. Craig S. Kesch serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Supreme Court Committee of the New York County Lawyers Association. Jason T. Cohen formerly clerked at the Appellate Division, First Department. Grant A. Shehigian has been named to the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list for each of the past five years.

With the addition of these four distinguished attorneys, Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer LLP now comprises 27 attorneys in our litigation and real estate practice groups.
